How will you this course in your personal life??
With this course it's valuable in the first way knowing what types of plans for 401k and different insurance types that are out there in general. It's also helpful if you go the human resource specialist point of view which is the area which I was considering getting into when I went to college in general. I've also worked alongside of human resources at work when it came to safety so now after doing employee benefits it really shows more in depth coverage to a lot of things that I didn't have as much understanding about. I'm still considering going human resources if I get the chance and this information was very valuable but too even at work it's not always easy to know what benefits we have access too since HR doesn't always do a good job letting us know the benefits we have access too. Often we learn about things we have access to by people that use them. Even in terms of FMLA benefits and how to claim them unless you really dig for information it's hard to take advantage of it because all in all work doesn't want you calling out a single day. Like I got called in for a sit down talk recently for attendance and 5 days was covid related but HR isn't very good about record keeping and notification in every area so instead you have to be your own advocate. But I really enjoyed the class and all the things we covered and I believe it will help in a lot of different ways.
